Terms & Conditions
This page tells you the terms and conditions on which we supply any of the products (‘Products’) listed on our website www.linescapes.co.uk or any of the other sites through which we supply Products or services. By ordering any of our Products and services you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
You should print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.
Making a contract with us
By placing an order through our site, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that you are at least 18 years old.
How the contract is formed between you and us
After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that the Product has been dispatched (Dispatch Confirmation). The contract between us (Contract) will only be formed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation.
The Contract will relate only to those Products whose dispatch we have confirmed in the Dispatch Confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other Products which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such Products has been confirmed in a separate Dispatch Confirmation.
Availability and Deliverability
Your order will be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the Dispatch Confirmation or, if no delivery date is specified, then within 30 days of the date of the Dispatch Confirmation, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Risk and title
The Products will be at your risk from the time of delivery.
Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.
The purchase is for the product only, any accessories, frames or other items in the photos are not included. The Watermark shown on the images will not show on print, it’s only shown for copyright.
Price and Payment
The price of the Products and our delivery charges will be as quoted on our site from time to time, except in cases of obvious error.
Product prices and delivery charges are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.
Our site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If a Product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.
We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as an error.
Payment for all Products must be by credit/debit card or other method as available on our web site.
We hope you are happy with your purchase, but should you need to return any items please follow the guidelines.
Returns policy lasts for 30 days. We cannot offer refund or exchange on items beyond this period. Returned items must be unused, in original packaging and in the same condition that you received it. To complete your return, we will require a receipt or order reference number. Return address details are below.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your item is faulty or damaged in any way please contact us via email and we will advise how to proceed. Please provide as much information as possible when contacting us including your order, your daytime telephone number in case we should need to contact you.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. When approved, your refund will be processed within seven days and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Late or missing refunds
If you have not received a refund within seven days of our confirmation and approval please contact us. Before you do please check your bank account again or contact your bank. Also contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you have done this and you still have not received your refund then please do contact us.
Refunds: Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchange: We will replace items if they are defective or damaged.
To return your product, you should contact us first to get a return number and address to send it to.
You will be responsible for paying return shipping costs for your item. All shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. The time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you will vary depending on your location. We aim to process returns within 2-5 days.
If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery of returned items.
Claims for damage must be made within 3-days of receipt of goods. Damaged product and packaging must be retained in case of inspection by our carriers. Claims of non-delivery must be made within 28-days of despatch.
Descriptions of goods and services included in the Linescapes.co.uk site are accurate to the best of our knowledge. We do our best to correct errors or omissions as soon as we are aware of them. However, you should be aware that the colours and appearance of images, mounts and frames may vary very slightly from the way they appear on the screen. Also print sizes can vary slightly between production batches. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you wait to receive your unframed prints before committing to third-party frames. If you need to know the precise dimensions of a product, please contact us.
The colours you see on your screen may not look exactly the same as the actual print. This is because every computer, Smart phone and iPad screen is configured differently.
The images and designs used on the Linescapes.co.uk website are the property of Linescapes.co.uk. All copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in and relating to products are vested in Linescapes.co.uk. You must not reproduce, modify or distribute our images or any part of those images in any manner, whatsoever. In the event that there is any dispute between us in relation to this issue, you agree that until the matter is resolved, an interim injunction will be an appropriate remedy.
Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing. When using our site, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
Changes to this Agreement
We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system’s capabilities.
You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you order products from us, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these terms and conditions before we send you the Dispatch Confirmation.
English law shall govern each transaction, including (without limitation) all contractual and other relationships, which arise as a result of such sales. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any disputes arising out of any sale.
